Delta Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational graduate who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team and wants to develop their skills in a school environment.  This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to gain experience in order to progress towards a teaching career.  As a graduate teaching assistant you will be supporting the class teacher working with the whole class or smaller groups to ensure that all children reach their full potential.    You would play a key role in supporting the pupils with complex needs and be adaptable, hardworking and flexible within your role.  The successful candidate would ideally have wide experience of working with children including those on the Autistic Spectrum within a mainstream or specialist school setting and has experience as a learning mentor.  You will need to be a well-organised person who can work both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly they must have the skills to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.   Depending on the needs of the school, you may be required to cover lessons (across all year groups) under the direction of the class teacher.
